A meme is a picture with a funny or ironic caption that has gone viral. The caption does not always have to be accurate for context the picture was taken in. Typically memes are used as a quick laugh, but they can also be used to present a political or social message in a way that will bring it more attention. Memes interest me because I think the sarcastic humour found in them to be either funny or thought provoking.
